Nishka Bommareddy, MPH (she/her/hers) serves as a Public Health Project Coordinator for CityMatCH. She is also completing a three-year fellowship that started at the end of 2020 and is partnered with Saint Louis University, where she received her MPH with concentrations in Global Health and Maternal and Child Health. Nishka also has a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Houston.
Before joining CityMatCH, Nishka worked as a Program Coordinator for the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic with AccessHealth, a community health center in her hometown of Fort Bend County, TX. She also interned with Drexel University, working on exploring the different programs and policies that make up the city of St. Louis.
Currently, Nishka is working with our Senior Health Data Analyst to understand the Perinatal Periods of Risk approach and assist in analyzing real-time data from the teams that CityMatCH currently works with. She is also focused on current research on adolescent mental health during the COVID-19 pandemic. Outside of work, Nishka enjoys working on her hobbies such as ASL, playing the cello, and spending time with family and friends.
