DeAnna Young – Communications Coordinator

DeAnna Young (she/her/hers), serves as CityMatCH‘s Communications Coordinator.

DeAnna joined the CityMatCH team in 2018, bringing with her a vast knowledge of administrative strategies, project documentation, and organizational problem-solving.

She is passionate about doing her part to create a world where everyone can feel loved and belong.

DeAnna graduated with her Bachelor of Multidisciplinary Studies with a focus in both Criminal Justice and Psychology from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She is working towards her Master’s degree and enjoys spending time with family, listening to music, and traveling in her free time.

Presently, DeAnna manages CityMatCH‘s social media, website maintenance, email blasts, monthly newsletters, and has a part in the creation of CityMatCH‘s CityLight’s publication. In addition to providing logistical support to project meetings and trainings, DeAnna serves as key personnel for annual conference logistics.

Previously DeAnna was a Project Associate at CityMatCH, supporting staff and projects with their communication, content development, and dissemination needs.
