For the 2008 - 2009 E-MCH calendar, we are unveiling a new framework which to guide us in providing useful information and tools to public health professionals and practitioners. Critical MCH issues will be examined within the broad spheres of social, environmental, political and health care concerns, with consideration for the shifting US economy.
E-MCH events will highlight areas where change is most expected and where public health leadership will be critical. The series will feature national experts in each area and will feature promising practices from around the country. Participants will be able to identify key roles and strategies for local public health in times of change.
CityMatCH and NACCHO are united to provide the most useful information at this critical time in our Nation’s history. We encourage you to participate and to share your own experiences and wisdom
Please note: NACCHO and CityMatCH have been approved by the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention to provide continuing education credits (CME, CNE, CECH, and CEU's) for the Emerging Issues in Maternal and Child Health Series beginning September 20, 2007 through September 19, 2009.
