The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has released a Guide for Measuring Alcohol Outlet Density for the use of public health practitioners to measure alcohol outlet density at the state and local levels. Alcohol outlet density is “the number and concentration of retail alcohol outlets in a defined geographic area”.
