The Massachusetts Early Childhood Mental Health Partnership (a collaborative effort among the Boston Public Health Commission, the Massachusetts (MA) Executive Office of Health and Human Services and the MA Department of Public Health) has released a new toolkit for programs and providers interested in integrating child mental health into pediatric primary care.

Case Review teams (CRT) play an important role in the FIMR/HIV Prevention Methodology. They help identify barriers to improving HIV care. CRTs consistently identify “access to mental health care” as a barrier. Many reviews show mothers living with HIV may have unique mental health issues that are not adequately addressed while receiving other care for themselves or their children. FIMR/HIV Prevention Methodology sites continue to work with Community Action Teams to address mental health care for women living with HIV.

The Department of Health and Human Services has launched a new website, Mentalheath.gov, which serves as an online resource for people looking for information about signs of mental health problems, how individuals can seek help, and how communities can host conversations on mental health. It also includes a "Toolkit for Community Conversation About Mental Health," which helps communities host their own conversations on the subject.
