Release of CDC’s 2017 School Health Index

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Healthy Schools recently released its 2017 School Health Index (SHI). This self-assessment and planning tool can be used by schools to improve their health and safety policies and programs. It provides schools with an opportunity to identify the strengths and weaknesses of their policies and programs utilized for promoting health and safety.
