The Society for Public Health Education has issued a Call for Public Comments on Draft School Health Educator Preparation Standards. These preparation standards are intended to serve as expectations for individuals graduating from a college or university prepared to teach health education at the K-12 level(s).  The deadline for comments is March 15th

Travel Scholarships Available for the 18th Annual MCH EPI Conference cohosted with the Annual CityMatCH Conference

Limited travel scholarships will be available for some conference participants who wish to attend the 18th Annual Maternal and Child Health Epidemiology Conference cohosted with the 2012 CityMatCH Urban MCH Leadership Conference. Priority will be given to applicants who are conference speakers, participants with an accepted abstract, those who are currently conducting MCH EPI work, and students. Applications must be submitted online by Tuesday, July 31, 2012. Submission of an application does not guarantee automatic receipt of a travel scholarship.
