Funding Opportunity: Voices for Healthy Kids

The American Heart Association and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, through the Voices for Healthy Kids initiative have opened a new grant opportunity. This collaboration aims to make effective strategic investments in ongoing state, local, and tribal public policy issue campaigns with hopes of increasing the public policy impact on healthy weight and living among children. Through the engagement, organization, and mobilization of people, this initiative seeks to help all children grow up at a healthy weight.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has released a Guide for Measuring Alcohol Outlet Density for the use of public health practitioners to measure alcohol outlet density at the state and local levels.
