CityMatCH Publications Now Available

-
New CityMatCH publications include the latest edition of CityLights,"Tipping the Scales of Justice: Advancing Health Equity in America," and a Town Hall report, "Moving the Life Course Work Forward: Recommendations from the Life Course Town Hall Meetings". This latest edition of CityLights places a particular emphasis on JUSTICE. Its feature articles include "A Lesson in Justice," "Improving our Urban Communities-Why Place and Race Matter," and "Bridging the Gaps: Communicating Justice." The Town Hall report echoes the voices of the participants of two Town Hall-style meetings that took place in September 2010 and February 2011. These meetings allowed MCH leaders to share approaches in applying the life course perspective, social determinants of health, and health equity concepts to everyday MCH practice.
