U.S. News and World Report Releases the Fifty Healthiest Counties for Kids

A new set of rankings released by the U.S. News and Report highlights counties that feature, among other data, fewer infant deaths, fewer low-birth-weight-babies, fewer deaths from injuries, fewer teen births and fewer children in poverty. The analysis was released as part of U.S. News and World Report's Annual Survey of Best Children's Hospitals. It represents the first national, county-level assessment of how health and environmental factors affect the well-being of children younger than 18.
