EMERGING LEADERS SCHOLARSHIP FUND
Award Information
One stipend of up to $1,000 will be awarded to reimburse for conference-related expenses.
Eligibility
Individuals who…
- Have not previously attended a CityMatCH conference.
- Work in a CityMatCH Member Health Department.
- Have a maximum of 5 years of leadership experience (e.g. supervision of staff, leading the MCH program, etc.).
Application and Selection Details
- Applications are due Wednesday, June 15, 2011.
- Interested representatives from CityMatCH-Member Health Departments must complete the application, and provide:
- Contact and demographic information,
- An essay of no more than 750 words,
- Certification and release agreement.
- Completed applications can be e-mailed to: citymch@unmc.edu (subject line: Emerging Leaders Scholarship Application), or mailed to: CityMatCH at UNMC, 982170 Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, NE 68198-2170.
- Applications will be reviewed by a selection committee.
- Upon selection (June 30, 2011), the recipient must confirm plans to attend the conference.
- The scholarship awardee will be acknowledged during the Awards Luncheon on Monday, September 19, 2011.
