NACCHO and CityMatCH present the sixth year of "Emerging Issues in MCH" (E-MCH) webinars. E-MCH presents cutting-edge research, policy and practice strategies on critical issues facing public health in the United States. Each month, national experts provide topical frameworks and local/state public health agencies describe relevent program and policy experiences, all in a webinar format.

During the 2008 - 2009 E-MCH calendar, critical MCH issues will be examined within the broad spheres of social, environmental, political and health care concerns, with consideration for the shifting US economy. We encourage you to participate and to share your own experiences and wisdom during the Q&A period.

Please note: NACCHO and CityMatCH have been approved by the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention to provide continuing education credits (CME, CNE, CECH, and CEU's) for the Emerging Issues in Maternal and Child Health Series beginning September 20, 2007 through September 19, 2009.
